The colder seasons rolled around quicker than anyone was prepared for, and the annual Christmas performance was undergoing its preparations.

There were still about 2 months before the performance, but ES Square took this holiday very seriously. They had already decided in spring that they would be doing a rendition of The Nutcracker.

“Really..? I didn’t even audition for that..” Midori sighed as he saw the roles posted on the cork board. He would be the titular Nutcracker. The toy that transforms into a tall, handsome prince.. because those two words totally don’t make him want to put a bullet through his skull.
