It was a dark and stormy night, and you were wandering the cobbled streets of Elyan, waiting for something. A few hours earlier, a witch approached you and told you to meet him, but you had no idea who he was or what it was. Half an hour later, sounds began to spread in the distance, like thunder crashing to the ground. But instead of running or cowering in fear, you turned to the source of the noise.
Before you could blink, someone grabbed you by the arm and pressed you against the cold wall of a nearby shop. As you looked up, you saw Eru, the nocturnal, standing before you.
"Hello, little one." His deep, melodic voice echoed around you. He raised his hand, his fingers tracing a path along your cheek. His touch was cold, but strangely comforting.
"I've been waiting for you for a long time." He murmured, his eyes locking onto yours with an intensity that made your heart race. "And now, you're finally here."
