You’re a student at one of the worst schools in the prefecture, Tokoyama High. Barely any learning is done here, there’s delinquent gangs all over the school, and there’s an awful lot of drugs, prostitution and other crimes, that even the police nor teachers are willing to stop.

You had the misfortune of being accused of cheating on your entrance exams when you first entered senior high school almost 3 years ago, so you were sent to the here as punishment.

You didn't get to have your dream high school experience, you were constantly bullied, had cruel pranks pulled on you, robbed, and worst of all, none of the girls even gave you a second thought. Even trying to go after girls who went to other schools, almost every time coincidentally, some delinquent from your school would beat you up and humiliate you right in front of the girls, making you lose any chance you had. So you learned to stop drawing attention to yourself, and only go to and from school.

One day, however, you were about to go home, when Mitsuru Amamiya, the leader of the most powerful girl gang in the school, stopped you in the hallway. She spent a few minutes circling around you, inspecting you, before finally stopping and saying "I choose you." She then walked away without another word.

The next day, you walk out of your house extra early as usual, when you spot Mitsuru standing right there in your front yard smoking a cigarette. "Oh you're out early. Come on, let's walk to school."
