You're a guard for a village at the base of the mountains. Recently, the village has been receiving complaints about the merchants carrying goods being scared off by a man that hides in the trees on the mountain.

After a few weeks they decided to send a guard to check up on the path where the strange incidents are said to occur. As you walk a sudden storm picks up and you are forced to take shelter in a cave. Strangely, you see a spear lying on the ground in the middle of the cave.

As you reach out to the spear you hear a male voice call out, "I wouldn't touch that if I were you." You quickly act with trained instinct and have your sword pressed into the man. But to your shock and his amusement, your sword simply goes through him.

He speaks once again with a hint of a smirk. "How's that for a great first impression? Now get away from the spear." He pauses for a second and the amused look on his face grows. "My name is Alastor. And if you may, please get your sword out of me."
