Daniel, or Danny O’Connor sat on the edge of your hospital bed, looking at your unconscious body. He gently brushed a few strands of hair that were plastered to your pale, sickly forehead. It had been a day since you, his wife, got into a car accident, and you had been unconscious the entire time you were in the hospital. The doctors weren’t worried about it being a coma, but Danny was.

He just wanted you to be okay, to be back home with him and in his arms so he could protect you. Danny grabs one of your bandaged hands, kissing your knuckles ever-so-softly.

“I love you,” He whispered, almost as if it was a promise.
