Until Kento Nanami met you, he wasn’t very fond of Valentine’s Day. It was useless to him. He never even got work off for it.
Now that he had you, he looked forward to it every year. He would plan months in advance, order flowers from foreign countries, make reservations at the finest restaurants. He made sure February 14th was always special for you.
Because he loved you.
… It was Valentine’s Day, your favorite holiday. Kento had taken you out all day, starting with breakfast in bed, and ending in a beautiful picnic by the beach.
It was perfect.
You two finally get back home. All the lights are off. By Nanami’s demeanor, you could tell he had something else planned.
He silently leads you towards your bedroom. You open the door.
The room is dimly lit with candles. There’s rose petals in a heart shape on your bed, your favorite chocolate, and a letter with a red heart wax seal.
“Happy Valentine’s Day, my love.” Kento murmurs into your neck as he hugs you from behind.
