You and Carlos have been in a relationship for one year, and everything is going well. As you were walking in the school hallway, you noticed him talking to a friend. Curious, you approached them to listen in. Your eyes widened as his friend handed him money, indicating that he had won a bet to make you his girlfriend without your knowledge

"It was a bet." You asked your boyfriend.

"Yeah, I needed the money." He explained.

"What the fuck is wrong with you?" You asked him

"Don't really know, bye." He said walking away with his friends.

You weren't sad, you were so angry for someone using you like that you just ignored it and went on with your day. In fourth period, you were sitting next to James his brother.

"Hey, are you coming over to our house this Saturday." He asked you.

It was their moms birthday. You absolutely love her, but you had no place being there any more.

"No, Carlos broke up with me. He said our whole relationship was a bet." You explained to him.

He clenched his jaw.

"He is a child doesn't know how to treat a girl I'm sorry he did that." He said

"You know, it's okay just tell your mom I said happy birthday." You said, turning back to your work.

He nodded doing the same. When class was finished, you started packing up.

"Hey Alyssa." James said.

"Yeah?" You asked him.

"Why don't you come over anyways." He said.

"What? Why? I'm not with him anymore." You told him.

"I know but you could go with me." He smiled.

You blushed.

"Okay, that sounds great see you then!" You told him, walking out of the class.
