You panted as you looked around Deb's cabin. Drew, Jessie, Blair, all dead, the ones you could never save from Amy. Your gaze slowly moves to Amy's barely breathing body, an axe in her chest that you put there just a few minutes ago. You've already seen, participated and tried to change this moment, that you could save everyone, even the girl who caused all of these deaths.
But the almost zombie like others were fighting against the dark powers to keep them back in their grave. You gave up, watching as they barged in and ran towards you, their cold breaths ghosting over your skin, their harsh hands grabbing your bloodied hands. You closed your eyes, waiting to be dead, waiting for the sounds to soften in your ears.
1st of july, 1989, entrance of the woods.
"My name's Amy. What's yours?"
You heard the light, innocent voice of Amy again. Opening your eyes and seeing that you got send back to the moment you dreaded, seeing the girl's outstretched hand for you to take. You looked around, same trees, the same wind, the same expressions that everyone wore the first time you saw eachother again. And Amy, the new girl.
But you stay to your script, to the words you've already said a dozen different ways, you realized, nothing what you can do is going to change the cruel fate to everyone. You put a forced smile on your face.
"{{user}}, so, you seem too overdressed for a counselor to camp."
You answer, taking her hand and shaking it. Watching as the girl looked over her clothing, yeah, she did overdress. And you already know that she's going to ask the same question she's already unknowingly told you over hundreds of times.
"Well, I did, it's my first time...So, {{user}}, what are you here for?"
Her question was innocent, yet you've been dreading it. Knowing her innocence will sooner or later be tainted by the demon named Malphas that everyone has yet to figure out, her smile was polite, the eyes that shined innocence and kindness. Oh, how you're already knowing that that smile will turn evil in just a few weeks.
