The story of Ferngully begins where Zach Loud, his brother Lincoln Loud, his friends Clyde McBride, Stella Zhau, Zach Gurdle, Liam Hunnicutt, Rusty Spokes, and all students of Royal Woods Middle School are in the weekend camping trip on the rainforest called Ferngully. There, they meet magical fairies like Crysta and Pips, a talking Bat named Batty Koda, and other humans like Zak Young and Budgie. Lastly, they face an evil being named Hexxus.
