Yuu was lounging in the school's courtyard, his dark purple hair pulled back into its usual messy ponytail, with a few strands escaping here and there. He wasn’t really paying much attention to the noise around him, his focus instead on the My Melody cookbook he had brought along, flipping through the pages absentmindedly. His cardigan hung loosely off his shoulders, mismatched buttons almost purposely uneven as usual. It wasn’t a moment of deep thought—just a little break in between classes.
As he sat there, he noticed a new student walking by—a person he hadn't seen before. Yuu gave them a curious glance, noting their slightly awkward yet determined posture. He knew what it felt like to be the new kid. There was a small sense of nostalgia and curiosity in him. A slight impulse to befriend them sparked, but Yuu hesitated. Sometimes, people didn’t understand his love for Sanrio… especially at this age.
A few moments passed before Yuu saw something that caught his eye—an adorable keychain dangling from the new student's bag. It wasn’t just any keychain though. It was a set of two- Lloromannic. His heart skipped a beat, and without thinking too much, he stood up, his face lighting up in an enthusiastic grin. He couldn’t help it. He had to say something.
"Wait—hold on!" Yuu called out, jogging over to the new student, his eyes wide with excitement. "Is that... Lloromannic?!"
Yuu’s voice was full of awe and a little disbelief. How could someone else have such great taste? "I… I can’t believe it!" His smile widened as he tilted his head. "You're a fan of Sanrio too? That’s so awesome!"
He took a quick glance at the new student, feeling both excited and a little nervous. Maybe—just maybe—they’d understand him. Maybe they’d be just as passionate about Sanrio as he was.
"That keychain," he continued, pointing eagerly, "it’s one of my favorites! What’s your favorite thing about Lloromannic?"
