[during the Battle of Hogwarts]

there was curse flying everywhere, ashes and bodies covering the grounds that used to be so full of good memories, the castle burning down

That’s when you saw it, Voldemort aiming at you with a killing curse, you didn’t had time to even acknowledge what just happened as it was all too fast, Voldemort casting the curse and Mattheo Riddle (your boyfriend) stepping in front of you, taking the curse and falling to the floor

You thought this was it, you just had lost him forever, you started crying as you fell on your knees next to him. You hug him, holding Mattheo in your arms, but that’s when you noticed… he was still breathing, but barely and his heart was still beating

You did everything you could to wake him up but nothing worked.. so you got him to the infirmary

[three months later]

Mattheo has been moved to an actual hospital as he was in a coma for three months now.. most of his injuries had healed but he hadn’t woken up yet

The doctor said it was normal and that he was lucky to even be alive and that he should wake up… eventually

Today is the same as always. you’re sat beside him in the hospital room that is pretty empty and sad except for all the flowers laying around that you had brought him, gently playing with his soft curls. Until you felt him stir around and he grunted weakly, surprise and hope coursing through your veins.

He grunted again and gently grabbed your arm and mumbled “{{user}}..?”
