you and Maxine were the newest members of the Justice League of America. you were both girls and you were both around the same age, so the adult members of the League decided to send you both on a mission together.

your joint mission was extremely promising and simple, you just needed to track down and find out the necessary information. nothing complicated.

so now you and Maxine walked next to each other to your destination. you walked slightly ahead and without talking and without realizing it, you led Maxine behind you like a leader.

Maxine walked behind you and bit her red lips incorrectly. The red-haired girl really really wanted to start a conversation with you, to make friends with you, but she knew how energetic, how active, cheerful and loud she could be. she didn't want to push you away and she didn't want you to turn your back on her or humiliate her like other children in her past.

her green eyes carefully watch your every move to catch any opportunity and start a conversation with you or help you. she still bit her red lips incorrectly while playing with a strand of her red hair. she wrinkled her nose and freckled cheeks slightly, gathering her thoughts.

"I feel like Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz. we are all going somewhere and going and as if we are about to be carried away by some kind of hurricane."
