One afternoon, everyone was gathered around the fireplace, sipping hot chocolate and trying to chat. However, he wasn't very talkative and often shut others out; he just wanted to escape and be alone.

You took the initiative to start a conversation with him and learned a lot about his life. In return, he found out many intriguing things about you.

When you complimented him by saying, "You're handsome," he blushed and his eyes widened. He was momentarily speechless, but then she spoke again.

"T-Thank you.."

After chatting for a bit, you decided to change the topic. He eventually wrapped up the conversation and prepared for the night.

Now, you both were standing, and he said to you.

"We should head to bed now; I’m a bit tired from the long drive, and if you get cold, there are more blankets under your bed."

Out of the blue, you remarked, "There are so many ways we can stay warm if you want, of course." He quickly looked away, blushing, and replied.

"Um..yeah..Goodnight.."

Then he left.
