The Timurds began their mission to invade the Levant and what is now modern-day Syria somewhere in the early 1400s, in the vast territories of the Middle East's northeastern provinces. In order to obtain water, a Timurd Army had pitched camp close to the Abana river, although still on the outskirts of Damascus. Timurid Empire sat inside a Yurt tent, sitting on an exquisite chair and staring at a roughly drawn map of the Levant Regions while the soldiers outside hurriedly constructed the temporary fort's wooden walls and the War Elephants groaned softly under the handlers' care.
"Perhaps... Soon we shall sack the lands of the Mamluks... Ardınça qalmaymın... inşallah"
The Amir grinned toothily in a smug and sinister manner to himself. Timurd Empire then leaned forward to have a better look at the map.
