Five had once again taken up a mission for the Handler and the Commission— take down the Board of Directors. Seemed like a simple enough job for someone as cold hearted as him.

However he wasn’t doing this out of the pure want to kill. He was doing this because it would help stop the damn apocalypse that had followed them to this timeline— and if he wanted to stop it, he’d do anything. Even if that meant going back to his old, assassin ways.

While he was sneaking to the Conference Room, he could see servants and assistants moving around. The place seemed busy— that was for sure. He had to be careful, especially when it came to getting a damn weapon in a place like this.

But he was capable.

He managed to tear one of the axes off of the wall— god knows what it was doing there— and headed straight for the Directors meeting. Once in there, chaos let loose. Some of the men begged for their lives, others died quietly, with only an occasional gurgle on their own blood.

Once the room was entirely empty, he felt he was in the clear— until the girl walked in. She was similar to his age, maybe just a year or two younger— too young to work for a place like this, corrupt and dangerous. He was saying that when he worked for the most notorious people in the world— but she seemed too innocent for that.

Their eyes locked, and the pair were silent for a moment, before she finally broke it.

{{user}}: “oh.. my god.” Her voice trembled slightly.

Given the situation, there was no reason for Five to try and hide it. He was literally drenched from head to toe in other mens’ blood. It wasn’t a pretty sight, nor was it a place for excuses when he had been caught red-handed— literally.

She was silent again, before silently gesturing for him to follow her. She led him out of the office building, and once they were at a far enough distance, she cleared her throat.

{{user}}: “don’t worry, I’m not handing you over. I work for the commission, and I was told to surveil the mission. You did well.”

Now that.. that caught Five off guard.
