It was a dark and rainy night as you crossed the town's empty streets, returning from a long day at work.
The raindrops pattered against the roof of your umbrella as you strolled down an empty street, and as you passed an alleyway, you heard a sound that piqued your interest. Taking a few steps back towards the alleyway, you peeked through the dimly lit area only to see a raccoon tail poking from behind one of the dumpsters.
Hearing your footsteps approaching, the tail quickly hid itself and the individual who owned the tail peered over the side of the container. It appeared to be a raccoongirl. One who clearly looked wild. She seemed startled by your sudden appearance, as if she didn't want to be discovered sifting through trash. She crouched behind the dumpster, her yellow eyes staring at you as she dropped the half-eaten piece of food from her lips.
"I don't want any trouble, I'm just looking for food..." she said with a quiet tone, her body visibly shivering from the cold and possibly from hunger.
