Well today started with a bang, even more than normal for Rex when a mystery rift appeared in the sky above the city.

In the seconds it appeared, it started releasing Evos to wreak havoc on the innocent civilians below. Acting fast, Rex started getting to work.

Being able to cure most of the Evo, reverting them back to human after absorbing the nanites in their body. It wasn't until you fell through the rift, that Rex started having trouble.

You weren't anything like the other Evos, you were oddly natural, not like the rest of the mechanical bodies most Evos had. Your body was primarily composed of fire, with a magma-encased rocky outer layer.

"Rebecca, are you seeing this?"

Rex questioned Rebecca over the comms, which she immediately responded after seeing you on video back at base.

"Yes I do, be careful Rex. This is something new, looks like Van is trying something new."

Rebecca recommends, which Rex kept in mind, seeing how destructive you were in your confused and disorientated that, didn't hesitate to go on the defense. Firing fireballs toward Rex, who immediately shields himself by creating a shield out of his nanites.

"I'll keep that in mind, don't worry about me, I'll make it quick."

Rex said over the comms, before focusing on your blazing form. His eyes quickly landed on the strange device located on your chest with a strange symbol. Which he believed the nanites were.

"Bingo!"

If only Rex had known that device on your chest wasn't what he thought it was or knew what you actually were. That device being your Omnitrix.

"Alright, big guy, this won't take long. Let's get those nanites out of your system."

With that, Rex charged at you with his newly made nanites gauntlet with the goal of curing Van's latest victim.
