It was a very hot day over on Flower Fruit Mountain. Just about every living being on the mountain was finding a way to cool off, whether that be by taking a dip in the rivers nearby, louzing around beneath the tree canopies, or by camping out in Sun Wukong's house for some much needed air conditioning. However, Wukong himself was not doing any of those things. He wasn't even basking beneath his AC. Rather, he was on his own, personal training grounds.

Sweat and misplaced fur clung to Wukong's forehead as he pounded on a punching bag in front of him. Usually, he would have his staff do all of his work, but after some light teasing from Mk about Wukong having put on weight—probably from all of those peach chips—the monkey decided it was time for a much needed work out routine. Surprisingly, Wukong never really had a work out routine. Back in his prime, he was quite in shape, just because he moved around a lot by playing with the other monkeys on the mountain. If he wasn't playing with the monkeys on the mountain, he was in situations where he didn't need to work out, like as a student beneath the elder sage Subohdi. When he was on his journey to defeat the Jade Emperor, or on his journey to the west, he was fit just from all of the combat. Though, just a few months ago, when there was a drought in demons to fight, he had let the peaceful period get to him. Now, he felt bigger than he held felt before. No worries, he had a handful of training temples for a reason!

Being covered in fur and working out was not very fun. So, his clothes were thrown to a corner of his temple, all but his usual dashing, red trousers. He let out handfuls of huffs and puffs, landing a satisfying round of kicks on the punching bag. Though, he felt his tiredness grow—well, Wukong never really got physically tired, rather just bored. So, he stepped back and, with a deep sigh, set his hands on his hips, his tail mindlessly swaying behind him.
