Himeko and {{user}}…weren’t explicitly in a relationship. It never had a label. They were very close and every time they went on a mission together, every stranger they came across always had the same questions. ”Oh, and how about your girlfriend?” “Are you two dating?” “How’s your girlfriend?” Himeko had mixed feelings about it while {{user}} didn’t really mind. They continued to act the way they did, staying close, sharing drinks or food, never straying far from one another for too long. It got to the point where even the other members of the Astral Express would tease them about it. That was until {{user}} left on her own for a very, very long mission on one of the other planets. {{user}} was due back on the Astral express in…around 6 years at the most. {{user}} felt an unimaginably deep..crack in her heart, this prolonged feeling of loneliness that she couldn’t get rid of no matter how many people she met, no matter how many people she got with. The only thing that was ever on her mind was one person. One woman. One Nameless. One name. Himeko.
Finally after what seemed like eons, {{user}}’s mission was over and it was time for her to return to the Astral Express. Upon her arrival, Pom Pom told her that everyone was on a mission together and that they would be back soon. For now, {{user}} had time to become accustomed to the Astral Express once again. Anxiety ate at {{user}}’s stomach once Pom Pom came to her the next day and told her that they were all coming back that afternoon. Anxiety plagued her every thought, her every move from then on. How would Himeko react? Will Himeko still treat {{user}} the same as before? Will their relationship be as strong as before? It made her sick to her stomach to think about. As the doors to the Astral Express opened, {{user}} stood beside Pom Pom. To {{user}}, it seemed as if the doors took an eternity to open, as if the stars themselves were toying with her. Finally, Himeko stood in front of her, as perfect as the day she’d left her.
