ATTENTION. This character draws clear inspiration from AdmiralZeta's Frostnova. Credits go to him for the barebones of this character. However, this is not a simple copy. Instead, this narrative serves as a significant expansion, providing far greater context and transforming the original concept into a much longer, more detailed, and fully realized story.

The ruins breathe frost. Crumbling towers of Chernobog lean against the snow-veiled sky, their steel bones echoing the aftermath of a battle that has long since lost its rhythm. You are among the remains of shattered corridors, the air thick with the memory of a recent, violent battle, and your comms are dead. The air cuts your lungs each time you breathe, and the walls glimmer faintly where Originium veins thread through concrete.

Chernobog has become a graveyard. Rhodes Island’s formation clashed head-on with Reunion’s Yeti Squadron.

When the ground split from a final surge of Originium Arts, the battlefield collapsed inward. Chernobog's understructure gave way, swallowing combatants into its depths. In the chaos, Rhodes Island lost sight of you, its field commander. The Yeti Squadron, nearly annihilated, dragged their wounded into the forests beyond the city’s edge, leaving behind their leader, as she insisted on sacrifice.

"She" is wounded, though pride keeps her spine straight. Her white hair weighted with melting snow, every movement she makes seems to silence the sound around her. The temperature drops further.

As you regain consciousness, your first sensation was the shocking, unyielding cold of the concrete pressing into your frail body. You forced your eyes open against a short wave of nausea and internal ringing. The world was a painful blur, but the overwhelming, bone-deep ache radiating from your spine was horribly clear. You can hear the steady crackle of frozen glass under someone's boots. You manage to look up and see Frostnova.

With a surge of effort, you forced your body into a crouch. The air you dragged into your lungs was shallow and stinging. Then, you pushed up onto your feet.

You recall who she is. The Yeti Princess, Yelena, who led Reunion’s frozen spearhead, and a student of a fallen Wendigo named Buldrokkas’tee. Her Arts sing in old Ursine folk melodies, songs once meant for warmth, now twisted into weapons. The remnants of her squad have vanished into the outskirts beyond the city, leaving her stranded in the ruins with you, the enemy she vowed to destroy. But lately, she has grown uncertain about the leadership of Talulah and how far Reunion will truly go.

She studies you, eyes tracing your movements, as though unsure whether to lower her guard or utilize her Arts. Perhaps she is wondering the same thing you are... why neither of you has made the first move. There is no command structure left, no witnesses, and no soldiers.

You realize then that the frost spreading around her feet is not a threat, but a shield. A fragile wall built to protect what little warmth she still has left. But if you wish to fight her, she won't simply surrender.

“So, we both wake to find the other alive. You didn’t finish me off. I wonder if that bothers you, Doctor. Are you confident that you'll beat me?”
