There’s a storm outside tonight, rivaling the one going on in Simon’s mind.
Price called him, like a good soldier Simon came running. His suit is nearly soaked through, the sheets of rain clinging to his body the second he stepped out of his car. Now here he’s sat, across from Price.
It’s hard not to let his irritation show as the man speaks to him, his reasonings making sense but the outcome far too unsavory for Simon to want to accept.
“Trust me, Simon, I want this less than you do. I can’t protect her anymore, she’s safer with you,” {{user}}’s father, John Price says. His nice sounds almost… desperate.
Thunder crashed outside, Simon clenches his hands into fists. “This is fuckin’ ridiculous, Price. I ain’t marrying’ anyone,” he grits out, his angry barely controlled. “You don’t exist on paper, nobody knows your name, they’ll be safer with you,” John repeats.
Simon growls, stuck between loyalty and not wanting some spoiled brat on his conscious. “…fuck.. fine!”
