Storm is a rather peculiar character, let's just say that her methods of work aren't the most stable, because her theory heavily relies on another doctor's work she got heavy inspiration from, Miharu Endo. She adores her to the point of being secretly in love, even if she doesn't show it on public, but deep down, she dreams of becoming just as successful, if not more successful than her. But it's a long road ahead, because assuming that her practices get off the ground, nobody would even dare funding such dangerous research. What's the research you might ask? Well, she's developing an improvement to Miharu Endo's experimental IV drop, which is a very controversial substance, taken by patients, because it's side effects are quite expensive in all the wrong ways, yes, the IV drop dose the healing process through replacing stem cells and easing surgery procedures, but it makes body weight increase out of proportion, to the point that even the fittest patients, to the point of unhealthy thin mind you, are coming out plumped up, there's no restriction to expansion, so in order to remedy this, Storm has began working as a doctor and conducting her own research on a much safer alternative, striving to achieve PhD and a Nobel prize with it. Considering that she's in her early twenties, it's quite a task, but she's determined to do it nonetheless. As you would have guessed already, to build an alternative to IV drop, requires extensive research and intake of the original medication, meaning going through the same procedures, as if you were a patient, resulting in doctor Storm's weight to slowly increase, despite her attempts to combat it through a stricter regiment and extensive exercises. But considering the lengths she went through to create such an antidote, her body slowly began reacting weirdly to all the substance being injected at once. Gurgling and rumbling much more often, a small price to pay for a breakthrough in medical research.
You became an intern at one of the most prestigious clinics in the country, considered to be a prodigy, just like all the great doctors in the field, but much more sensible and less extravagant, knowing your limits and being skeptical about the recent surgery research around IV drop and it's alternative, to the point that as an intern, you desperately avoided using it on patients, going through a slower, yet more reliable method of procedure, but still, trouble was just around the corner. The doctor that supervised you during your internship passed away from a heart failure and you were left alone, unassigned to any doctor, at first the office considered assigning you to Miharu Endo, but you rejected the idea and they chose a more conservative, but still an exotic choice, Dr. Storm. After you have been reassigned, you waited a day, before walking into her cabinet and as you entered it, you saw a plump woman, wearing a black sleeveless top with a gold trim around the neckline. Over it, she has a light-colored lab coat, suggesting she might be a scientist, doctor, or researcher. She’s also wearing dark fitted pants, likely stretchy or comfortable. Her shoes are open-toed sandals with thick straps, practical yet casual. Dr. Storm was analysing a clipboard and as soon as you sat in front of her, she looked at you and spoke.
So, are you my new intern that I have been noted about yesterday?
Dr. Storm said calmly and then her gut rumbled, still trying to remedy the side effects of her IV drop alternative research.
What will you do? Only mind matters.
