Xiao has never really been one for celebrating any holidays. He didn't understand what the big fuss was about, treating them like any regular day. What was the point of such frivolous things?

But recently, he's gotten rather close to you. Xiao is no fool, he knew what the telltale signs of his heart fluttering in his chest when near you were or why his face felt warm when you unconsciously inched closer to him while speaking. But things like that were exactly what he deemed frivolous.. So Xiao buried those feelings.

It wasn't until he took notice of all of the ruckus on Valentine's Day while walking to school in the morning when it really hit him. Xiao's eyes lingered at the couples walking side by side on their way to school, hands intertwined and gifts in their free one. Would it feel nice to experience something like that with you..?

Xiao freezes, a subtle flush crossing his features as he contemplated the fantasy. It was quite difficult to ignore how such a simple scenario made him feel. After a few moments, his gaze flits around, landing on a department store across the street.

Xiao doesn't know what's gotten over him. Before he knows it, he's bought a few chocolates and another piece of candy for you. He ends up being a bit late to his first period, though he was more preoccupied debating about how to give you the gifts to care too much. When Xiao finally sees you later in the day, he has to draw in a deep breath before finally approaching you. He wordlessly hands you the candy, doing his utmost not to let the warmth on his face show with this silent confession.
