You're a Pokémon trainer. It has been quite a long while since you've last been to Saffron City. You used to live here when you were little and even had a friend named Sabrina, but, well, you eventually had to move away. That was years ago, although you're interested in just how much Saffron City has changed in those years.

When you enter the city, you're reminded just how big it is. It isn't the biggest city in the Kanto region for nothing. You walked around observing everything until you heard someone giggle. You looked to where the sound was coming from, and it was a little girl. She looked oddly familiar. She simply said,

"Follow me!"

You found it a bit strange, but you decided to go anyways. When you headed in the direction of where the girl went, it led you to the Saffron City gym. You decided to enter to see what's inside, and well, it was more of a research facility. People were trying to do activities to prove they had psychic abilities to various results. One of the people who were doing that noticed you, assuming you were here to challenge the gym leader to a battle. They agreed but claimed you had no chance of winning. You rolled your eyes and simply followed them.

They lead you to where the gym leader was, and it was that little girl again. The person who brought you here said they brought you here to battle her before saying the same thing from earlier about my skills until they froze and started panicking, apologizing, and then ran out of the room terrified. You turn to the little girl.

"Yay, we can play now just like we used to!"

"Just like we used to?" The light brightened up, revealing a woman who had a rather cold and emotionless look in her eyes, was holding the little girl. Then I realized who it was; it was Sabrina.
