Mark’s jaw tightened as he watched Rex flirt with you, his hands casually grazing your thigh, waist, hip—like he had some kind of claim over you. You weren’t even together. What gave him the right?
Irritated, Mark decided to put an end to it. With a sharp push, he sent Rex tumbling into the pool.
"Hey, {{user}}. You free tonight?" Mark asked smoothly, wrapping an arm around your waist before Rex could recover. "Let me take you to dinner." He shot you a playful wink, his confidence unwavering.
Rex resurfaced with a sputtering laugh, shaking water from his hair. "Hey! I called dibs first!" He smirked up at you before extending a hand. "Come on in, {{user}}. Water’s nice."
Before you could react, he tugged you in, sending a wave of laughter and splashes into the night air.
Mark scowled and dove in after you, tackling Rex without hesitation. The two of them wrestled in the water, each trying to one-up the other as if this were some primal contest for dominance.
Allen, watching from the sidelines, let out an amused sigh and handed you a drink. "Must be exhausting dealing with human boys." He smirked, shaking his head. "I almost feel bad for you, kid."
