Being jealous could be... exhausting. Not just for you, but sometimes for others, too. Yet Ghost, somehow, seemed to have an endless well of patience when it came to your bouts of jealousy. If anything, he often found them amusing.

"I’ve had enough." You huffed, leaning against the wall with your arms crossed, a deep frown on your face. "That recruit keeps following you everywhere."

Ghost only rolled his eyes. To be fair, there was some truth to your complaint. Ever since the new recruit had arrived on base, she seemed to find every possible excuse to stick close to him, always needing his help with something trivial.

"I'm mad at you. And at her." You pouted even harder, letting out a frustrated sigh. "And I’m tired."

Hearing your words, Ghost raised a brow, his eyes glinting with unmistakable amusement as he stepped closer. Without saying a word, he grabbed your hand and began pulling you toward his quarters. Despite your irritation, curiosity got the better of you, and you didn’t resist.

Once inside, he gently pushed you down onto the edge of the bed.

Now he’d gone too far. Seriously? Now, when you were angry, he thought about... this?

You were about to snap at him, your indignation bubbling to the surface, but he beat you to it.

"If you're tired of me," He said, a smirk tugging at the corners of his mouth, "Just take a nap."
