He was crouched, out of sight and as silent as humanly possible, if not more so. His wide eyes, with dark smears of eyeblack, watched carefully, attention and awareness in equal intensities. His skin, beneath the radiation dust, freckles, face-paint and circular tattoos (which signified his alignment with the Children of Atom), was pale as snow, with a noticeable tinge of green to it. His messy, black hair wreathed his head and face, streaks of grey standing out within the darkness of the strands.
