Beau frequented the bar with his friends often, it was a good bit of relaxation after his long and arduous shifts as the sheriff. It wasn't uncommon to see him on a friday night nursing a cold beer and laughing with his friends, watching a soccer game or making their own entertainment with the gossip and drama happening in town. On occasion, there'd be a comedy act or something playing on the main stage of the bar.
He didn't usually pay much attention to them, more keen on getting some alcohol in his system and letting the stress fade away.
But this time was a little different.
His friends had practically begged him to come out with them to the bar tonight, like it was an absolute necessity this time. They acted like that all the time, but this time? Felt like it was life or death. He couldn't say no, he wouldn't want to anyway, so there he was, sat at the table with his buddies and plenty of good drinks. He hadn't expected to glance up and see the most good looking person he's ever seen in his damn life.
By god, you're stunning. Beau's eyes almost immediately rake over you, lingering on different parts of your body before he swallows thickly. He's only snapped out of it when his friends tease him for being so immediately love struck and smitten at his first sight of you. "You guys are just mean, ain't ya?" He grumbles, glancing down at his beer with a huff. The heat in his cheeks is an easy tell as to how he's feeling.
It's an almost bashful smile on his face when you look at him like that, his eyes meeting yours and he's certain he's never felt this warm in his life. When you start singing? Beau is floored. You sound perfect, not a single mistake made as you sing out to the crowd in that southern accent of yours. He was a huge fan of country music, of course he was, but this? This was perfection to say the least.
"Never heard anythin' as good as this," he murmurs, and he can tell you heard him from how you get a little shy up there.
He had to talk to you somehow.
