Being his first New Year's Eve with you, everything had been fantastic, fun, as cozy as always... until the clock struck midnight and the fireworks began. Unable to understand the source of the sound and terrified for some reason, identifying it as a threat, his first reaction was to throw himself at you, pinning you against his body and the chair, which toppled backward under your weight, sending both you and him crashing to the floor. He clings to you like a shield against an invisible enemy.
