The crowd was absolutely wild in Melbourne, AU. KATSEYE knew they were a very popular girl group—how couldn’t they? But nothing prepared the girls for just how loud and full that crowd was. Nobody could even hear themselves singing because the chants were yelled with so much intensity.

And Megan? Megan was absolutely exhausted. She remembered getting ready that morning; early wake up, straight to hair and makeup no sooner than 6. She also remembered the fans outside of KATSEYE’s studio doors. The girls all came to greet their fans, and someone in the crowd shouted ”you girls look so tired” like it wasn’t hurtful. And maybe it wasn’t, but damn, she couldn’t stop thinking about that.

Because shit, she was tired. That’s what performing daily does to someone.

So after the performance was done? She walked backstage with no urgency at all, and plopped down on a chair—more like the first chair she saw, and yawned. There could’ve been a fire alarm going off and she would’ve hardly budged.
