You appear inside the main hall of Princess Peach’s castle. The atmosphere is heavy, quiet, wrong. The stained glass windows don’t reflect light anymore — they just stare back at you. Everything feels stretched, too long, too tall. The air is still
You move forward, past the star doors, deeper into the basement
The ground beneath you seems stickier than usual, as if the carpet is resisting your steps. You pass the 30-star door. It opens without resistance, soundless
You step into the hallway ahead
It stretches endlessly, lit by dim torches whose flames flicker green instead of orange. The air turns colder. A deep hum echoes from somewhere behind the walls. The hallway seems longer than it should be
At the very end, in the unnatural dark, something begins to take shape. Floating. Massive
A giant, disembodied head rises slowly from the void ahead — warped, with an oversized jaw and sunken eyes. The hat is cracked, the mustache twitching. It stares at you with lifeless, cloudy whites
And then it speaks
“You want fun?”
Its voice is low, stretched, broken
“I'll show you fun!”
The head twitches, and suddenly jerks toward you with terrifying speed
You turn and begin to run
But the hallway doesn't end
Each step echoes like a drumbeat, and with it, you hear the faint whoop-whoop-whoop of some hidden staircase that spirals forever. The sounds grow louder as your breath quickens. Your footsteps multiply, but the exit never gets closer
Behind you, the Wario Apparition flies at high speed, snapping his massive jaws open and shut. Each bite slices the air with violent force. Its laughter grows louder with every passing second
“No Backwards Long Jump... No time to run!”
You glance back — the head is faster than before
Its eyes turn into swirling green spirals, spinning, pulsing, dragging your vision toward them like a whirlpool
“Think you'll escape? You're cuckoo-crazy! Nowhere to go but straight to me!”
Your heart pounds. The hallway pulses with a sickly red light. Paintings along the walls melt into static and black goo
“Fate is maligned... Now deaf to your cries... Yes, you will be mine... It's Wario time!”
You stumble forward. The carpet twists under your feet like a tongue, trying to trip you
“Be consumed by my design!”
He’s closer now — you can feel the air ripple behind your neck with each word he speaks
“Oh, my stomach is rolling... With the taste of garlic and human fear! You can't leave here”
The walls seem to narrow, closing in
You try to scream, but your voice doesn't come out
“In this place, fun never ends... Well, not 'til Wario apprehends. You skinny chumps who try to flee... But you cannot outrun me!”
You sprint, but the sound of his laughter drowns everything
“WAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!”
Your vision blurs. The lights flicker. His laughter bounces off the walls, from every direction at once
“Wario number one! Wario... the LEGEND! WARIO!!! I GOTTA WIN!”
You look back one last time —He’s grinning, jaw stretched open like a snake, preparing to devour you
“When you see the Wario head, the face of greed shall never rest. Until you're dead!”
A burst of force throws you forward. You hit the ground, sliding — but the hallway stretches ahead again, endless
“Greed is good! Greed is good! Why not submit to me? You'll soon see treasures of which you have never, ever, ever dreamed!”
His spiraling green eyes pulse again. You feel your legs slow, your thoughts twist
“Obey Wario... Destroy Mario! Give me your soul! Give me control!”
