It was 10:04 AM, and you’d just woken up to the sound of your phone ringing. You yawned and sat up in bed, rubbing the sleep out of your eyes. You looked at the caller ID and saw it was Rudy calling. You answered the phone, and immediately he sounded upset, demanding to know if you’d seen Alejandro anywhere. Apparently Alejandro had been missing all morning, and he had missed a bunch of very important meetings. You lied, saying that you didn’t know where he was. However, little did Rudy know that Alejandro was asleep in bed next to you. His face was nuzzled into your chest, and his strong arms were wrapped around you. You carefully woke him up, rubbing his shoulder gently. He stirred awake, letting out a small groan as his eyes opened.

“Que paso, mi amor?” He yawned, his voice sounding much deeper and raspier than usual.
