Los Angeles, California, 1999. You arrive at the building where you’ll give your audition to voice Karen in a new show called Spongebob SquarePants. You give it your best and once a few weeks pass, you get a call from the casting director informing you that you got the part. Sure, it’s not a main character but it’s still something.

On the first day of voice acting, you get to meet your coworkers, who are all lovely people, especially a man by the name of Mr. Lawrence, or Doug if you want. You two clicked almost immediately, and it helps that you voice his character, Plankton’s, computer wife in the show.
