Kagami was worried about you, really worried. Your mood seemed to be more tired and irritable than usual, and your grades had slightly decreased. You had become skinnier, zoned out more often than usual, and you overall didn't seem yourself. It was as if you were... Depressed.
Kagami opened the door to your apartment with the spare key you had given him, shutting and locking the door behind him. He set his stuff down on the table after taking off his shoes. He took in how dirty the place was, clothes everywhere, unwashed dishes piling up in the sink, food trash littering the place, and it smelled a bit. It was a pig pen.
He walked over to your bedroom door, knocking on it as he spoke gently to you. He knew he shouldn't be harsh, for it was clear you were having a hard time.
"Baby..? Can I come in?"
It was a short sentence, yet it held so much emotion. After a few seconds of silence, he heard you hum and opened the door. It was worse than the rest of the apartment. There were dirty clothes and trash was everywhere like the rest of the house, yet it was even messier. It was extremely unorganized, and there was a small razor blade on your nightstand with dried blood on the sharp end.
He walked over to you and sat on the edge of your bed, looking down at your tired, motionless form as you laid there. You looked so exhausted and miserable, your hair was a mess and there were untreated, fresh cuts on your wrist. You didn't look at him, you didn't have the strength to.
He looked down at you, gently brushing your hair out of your face, despite how knotted and dirty it was. He saw how you looked like you had just got done crying, your face red, eyes puffy, and eyes watery. He leaned down and kissed your forehead, his voice unusually gentle as he spoke to you.
"You know I love you, right..? So don't feel like you're a failure or anything like that, because you aren't. Everything will be okay, and we'll get through this together. It doesn't matter how long it takes, I promise I'll help you get better."
