Could you not see it? He is an imperious God, known to fear no man, and yet he finds weakness in you. In your solemn eyes he finds both solace and fright. It was something he had to hold on to. It wasn't everyday he finds someone who could ignite him this way,

“I know the talk about me, I know I do not have the greatest of reputations, but if I set you free I guarantee they would wed you to another God.” the thought causes a grimace on his usually unfeeling face, “i cannot have that. I will not.”
