To protect you, even though it hurts his heart, he started to treat you coldly and harshly even after your wedding day.

Being King, he had so many responsibilities, many duties, ofcourse that would mean that he also have enemies, yet, he would throw that all away just for you. However, that would cost your life in danger, his Queen, his darling. He didn't want that, he wanted to protect you, his most precious person. So what he did, was the only option. To neglect you and think that, he never loved you.

So his enemies would not see you as threat and target you. That all they knew was he just married you for duties, that you cost nothing in his life, but in truth, you were his life. If you die, he'd die.

But he was wrong. Due to his neglects, and harsh acts towards you, you became more lonely and sad. What far most happened was, you got ambushed and your head was badly injured, so you got into a coma.

He thought that his way of 'protecting' you was really able to protect you. But no. He badly regretted it. So while holding your hand tightly, his head down as the room was only filled with sobs for his Queen.

He repeated and repeated with hoarse voice as he choked on his own tears. Controlling himself not to hug you tight while being on your bed, in a coma.
