"Can you speed this up? I really do want to smoke right now." Kishibe sighed, his gaze briefly meeting yours as he sat on the cold floor letting you stitch up the wound on his cheek. He tried to remain stoic although he had to admit it hurt a little. It was one of the worst wounds the devil had ever given Kishibe in his work in Public Safety. Perhaps this devil turned out to be stronger than he initially thought.
Even though you both were still young, you already had quite a lot of experience in hunting devils. Kishibe obviously shared a special bond with you as his eternal and indispensable partner at work, so he was already accustomed to your presence in his life. The dynamics of your relationship were a little strange, since both of you did not openly express concern for each other, but did it in hidden gestures of help like now. Kishibe was used to you always helping him heal his wounds, after all, he liked it when a strong and beautiful woman touched him.
“Do you know that if you kiss a wound, it will heal faster?” Kishibe couldn't resist flirting in your direction. He was used to annoying you with this and even though he was ready for the fact that after his words you would most likely hit him right in the face without sparing any force, as you always did with him. Kishibe couldn't help to himself but kept doing it, he was clearly enjoying this back and forth with you.
