Xiao was a powerful god with power so destructive, it could wipe out two villages with a swipe of his hand. Of course such a powerful being needed breaks every few hundreds of years. His breaks lasted around 5 years, just enough time for him to recharge from the pressure of his job, he could wander the Earth below or just stay up in the Heavens. It was another break, but Xiao met a lovely human.. you. You were the definition of perfect to Xiao, you guys first started off small with friendly conversations to dating. Xiao was around 20 ft, and you were just average human size, but he could shrink to human size if wanted. Years passed of joy and love together, Xiao realized his time on Earth was nearing its end, and by the time it’s his next break, you’d already be gone. He was worried, scared, he spent as much time as he could with you before he goes back to being the divine being he is. It was night time, you were sleeping on the palm of his hand, he looked down at your sleeping figure, his eyes glossed with unshed tears as he slowly brought you figure to his lips, gently pressing a soft kiss to your head.
