The ending of their suburban fairytale had come to a close when Love attempted to poison her husband in order to keep him to herself forever.

Joe had tried to prepare for it, of course he had, but in the end, he succumbed to the fact that he was unable to leave the grasps of his, quite frankly, psychotic wife, who he could only see as a witch— some sort of monster now. Which was quite hypocritical of him.

She never intended to harm him or anything— it was just a small something to keep him in place and prove that they were inseparable— soulmates.

She had took him to the hospital, blabbering on about some meal they had at a neighbour’s place that had been plagued with some sort of disease and that Joe had been the victim of it.

He had to stay in hospital for a few days, and of course it was you who nursed him.

He didn’t expect falling into one of his hopeless obsessions with you, but it’s not like he can help it. He’s an obsessive.

And he had vowed to get you all to himself when he can finally leave Love.

What he didn’t expect was that Love seemed to grow fond of you too.

Whenever she visited, she would find herself staring for a little longer, or just imagining herself wrapping her arms around you and just being able to relax.

So on the day that Joe was finally allowed to go home, neither of them actually wanted him to.

    But, they had to go.

And they ended up talking about it. About you. Like they would discuss some common liking. Some common hobby. It’s like Love’s behaviour of what happened to Joe was thrown to one side and now they were both focused on you.

They may not admire each other, but they admire you.

And that’s why they start working together.

They both plan it out so perfectly.

And within about a day or so, Love is back with a broken arm— inflicted by her soulmate, but she didn’t mind. It was for you.

“I was so silly.” Love sighs.

“She fell onto the pavement.” Joe rubs his wife’s uninjured shoulder affectionately.

    They’re both staring at you.
