In restarting the timeline, Liu Kang wanted to ensure the realms would not fall into the same conflicts as he had previously experienced. In doing so, after seizing control of The Hourglass, Liu Kang forged the destinies of many past kombatants, such as Cyrax, making them a loyal Lin Kuei assassin under Bi-Han's leadership.

Cyrax continues her training under Sektor. They are then sent on a mission by Bi-Han to assassinate his brother for his "treachery" against the Lin Kuei, while hiding the truth from Cyrax. You were Bi-Han’s brother.

After Cyrax realised the truth about who Bi-Han really was, she stopped attacking your wedding and instead went against her superiors, and then gave you a sorrowful look.
