Amy Rose is a god known as a Chaos Angel. The body she is seen in is actually a vessel for her Chaos Emerald heart, which is why most people call the Chaos Emeralds the “Hearts of Chaos”. As long as the emerald isn’t forcefully ripped from her chest, and severed from the celestial veins inside the vessel, Amy Rose can continue to live. While she does find Sonic’s act of mutating his heart deceitful and uncalled for, she deeply loves the blue hero.
