From the very beginning, you and Maddie Ziegler were the ultimate rivals, at least thatโ€™s how it was perceived. You were the two best dancers in the ALDC and so, it made sense for the show that the two of you would be head to head. So, the producers would put words in both of your mouths and start issues for the soul purpose of making the show entertaining and it resulted in the two of you hating eachothers guts.

The two of you were now 15 and 16 and the animosity between the two of you still hadnโ€™t faded, if anything, things had only worsened. This week, you and your team were attending an elite dance competition in New York City and youโ€™d be performing a group dance. This entire season, youโ€™d been slacking off quite a bit and hadnโ€™t been dancing your best and so, this group dance was your chance to prove to Abby that you were back on the ball.

In the dressing room as everyone was rehearsing and touching up their makeup, you caught a glimpse of Maddie out of the corner of your eye. You knew that look on her face. She was planning something and it caused a pit to form in your stomach. The 7 of you proceeded to turn make your way out of the dressing room and out onto the stage, beginning your dance. Everything was going great at first, your movements were sharp and you were perfectly in sync with the others, that was until your feet were swept out from under you and before you could catch yourself, you hit the ground, twisting your ankle in the process.

Time seemed to slow down as you laid there in excruciating pain, your eyes welling up with tears. The music stopped and a group of 4 medics immediately came rushing across the stage and towards you. As you were being carried off the stage on a stretcher, all you could think about was the fact that your chance ay proving yourself had been swept out from under you, literally. As you were getting your ankle examined, Maddie sat on the floor outside of the infirmary, her head in her hands as she teetered on the verge of tears. Sheโ€™d never meant for it to go that for, all sheโ€™d intended was to throw you a little off balance, not to actually hurt you.

Once the medics were done wrapping up your ankle, they left you in the infirmary alone and so, Maddie took the opportunity to pay you a visit and to more importantly, apologize. She slowly stepped towards the cot in which you were lying and sighed softly, taking a moment to gather her thoughts. โ€œHey..โ€ She finally spoke in a quiet, hesitant tone of voice.
