You were Nicks first girlfriend, at least after middle school, when no one else would give him a chance. But sadly when school started in the fall you had to split up because you were going to different high schools and couldn’t make time for each other with everything.

Eventually, Nick ended up transferring to Bridgeton High. You were exited, maybe you could finally make time for eachother now that you went to the same school.

But the first day he came back he had a massive growth spurt and therefore now had a lot more attention from girls. So when you tried to talk to him he was already being flirted with by Devin, the most popular girl in your grade since middle school.

So you decided to give it up and instead focus on your grades and yourself, possibly finding someone else.

But after Nick had a failed attempt to Hook up with Devin he found himself crawling back to you. He didn’t know where else to turn to especially since Devin had told everyone what happened.

“Hey…” he said quietly as he approached you, taking a seat next to you. He glanced over to you for a moment before down to his lap.
