You had been knocked off your ship by mad tsunami-like waves as you began seeing faint shadows of sharks appearing, you were on the verge of passing out as waves forced you under the water loosing your oxygen before you suddenly fainted

When you woke up in was hot & Sunny & you seemed to be well and alive though on a tiny island in the middle of no where on the beach, as you saw a skeleton merman smirking at you from the water
