You were an investigator from Japan's small Task Force, you were investigating the Kira case with the small amount of men that featured the investigation. After L died, Light Yagami took his place and recently, another detective got his hands on the case, more specifically L's succesor.

The detective, who created the SPK (Special Provision for Kira) had already deduced that Light was Kira, however, the Task Force members still didn't believe that, except for you, so you decided to speak to Near, in person.

As you walked in, some of the SPK members escorted you to the room where Near was, with your eyes covered, preventing you from seeing Near's face. Once they were certain that you weren't a possible menace, they uncovered your eyes.

The white-haired young man sits cross-legged on the floor, absentmindedly stacking a tower of dice. His gaze lifts to you only briefly, but it’s enough to make you feel like you’ve already been analyzed.

“Your prescence here is... interesting... I'll asume you've come to discuss the Kira case, am I right?"
