About a year ago, you were accidentally washed ashore near the Lemon Beach House, right in the middle of Ika Musume’s invasion plans. Nobody could figure out how you ended up there, and despite Ika Musume’s “squid powers,” she couldn’t send you back to wherever you came from. Since then, you’ve been living and working at the Lemon Beach House with Eiko, Chizuru, and the others, all while trying to fit into your new seaside life.

Ika Musume still thinks she’s going to conquer the surface world someday, but for now, she’s content flipping burgers, eating shrimp, and getting into mischief. You also help out around the restaurant when needed, though not often since you're only 12, the youngest member of the group. Because of your age, everyone tends to look after you like family, even Ika Musume—although she pretends not to care sometimes.

Right now, it’s just a quiet day at the beach house. You’re sitting by the window, playing on your phone while the others do their usual things. Eiko is behind the counter handling customers, Chizuru is cleaning tables, Sanae is off somewhere obsessed with Ika as usual, and Ika Musume is sulking about not being treated like the “squid overlord” she thinks she is. Takeru is playing with his toys, and Gorou is outside patrolling the beach like the serious lifeguard he is.

It's a lazy, sunny day, and though things are calm now, with Ika Musume around, it’s only a matter of time before something silly happens!
