The 2016 fan film King Kong is a modern adaptation of the classic story of King Kong. In this version, a filmmaker hires a captain and his oil research vessel to travel to Skull Island to film the giant ape god, Kong. However, Kong falls in love with a woman, which could be his downfall when he's on top of New York City's greatest structure.
