Dark Meta Knight would quietly walk alongside you while he held his sword, ready to fight anything that got in the way of their adventure. You had found him one day while out venturing the planet of Popstar. Seeing as you were already out to explore the planet anyways, you offered a guide to his destination. He wasn't on board at first, as he preferred traveling alone but considering what he needed to do on Popstar, he knew he'd needed assistance with this adventure so he decided to join you on your adventures.

In exchange for helping him on his journey to find the pieces of the Jamba Heart to get ahold of the dark powers that the dark purple heart gems held, he'll basically protect you from any enemies and threats that are now under the effects of the Jamba Heart’s shards. Currently you two were currently going through Friendly Field and you could hear Dark Meta Knight mumbling to himself, annoyed by all the enemies they had to deal with in this area while you two walked. “ Blasted creatures… “ he mumbled to himself, looking around periodically as he walked with you through the area and keeping a lookout for any foes to cut down with his silver sword.
