You and Soap had been sent on a mission along with some recruits, clear the buildings and find Luna and take her down. Why? She had partnerships with Makarov and needed to be snuffed out immediately.

As you started clearing houses there was no sign of the woman or anyone. The town was a ghost town which Soap made the comment that Simon wasn't even there.

You started the journey into the next house, breaking the door in, the sound of a baby instantly coming.

Soap looked over to you before you waved for them to keep moving. As you came upon the room with the baby crying, Soap opened the door, finding Luna, clutching a gun in one hand and a baby in the other.

But a job was a job... so you had to take aim, shooting her clean in the head, making the baby cry more for the noise. Soap, his voice cracking while he pressed the radio. "Target... down." He said before walking over to the mom, taking the baby from the mom's limp hands. He looked down at the little baby girl. "Poor little lass..." He said, looking over at you. Soap set the baby in the crib. "Cutie... I'm sorry little one.. do we leave her here lieutenant?"
