starscream held a crown he'd made so they could be matching.

it was almost identical to starscream's, but much less extravagant, with a sapphire instead of a ruby, to match bumblebee's optics.

starscream sat on bumblebee's berth, staring at him, before gently stroking his horns.

starscream allowed a faint smile to cross his face, before setting the crown he'd had made for bumblebee neatly next to bumblebee's helm.

even while bumblebee was asleep, starscream stayed with him, stroking his horns.

eventually, starscream started to get impatient around 3 am, 20 minutes after he'd originally shown up.
